Baton

If your child was given a baton at the end of last school year from their Holland Christian teacher - will you please bring this along with you to the Open House. I will have a basket available for you to return them. If you are new to Holland Christian, you do not need to worry about this as your child will be receiving their baton at the end of Kindergarten.

Lunch Choices

Every morning when your Kindergartener comes into class they will need to make their lunch choice first thing. They will each have their own card and will have to either:

Keep it on the counter if they are taking a home lunch.
Put their card in either Choice 1 or Choice 2 if they are taking a school lunch. (All school lunches come with a milk)
Put their card in Milk only (this is for if they are having home lunch but need to order just milk).

I will be walking beside the kinders the first few days to help them learn this routine, but it would be great if you can help make a plan with your student so they know what lunch they are having.
